I was just wondering how plausible Creating a functional tunnel ram intake for my 04 civic dx would be. I figured it shouldn't be too incredibly difficult with the throttle body positioned the way it is, but would it be a waste of time or well worth the effort?

No not like that. basically ram air hood, with air being diverted into the throttle body. That's a bit over-kill there not to mention that's for a V-8.

Exactly. The picture of what I posted is a "tunnel ram." You are thinking of and referring to a "ram air." Please see the thread on the headlight intake for why that would be worthless.

Yeah, I figured it would be. I'm just sick of seeing these guys out here with the scoops on their hoods and they're not doing a damn thing.
