Removing belts to reduce drag..

Ive been reading a lot of posts about the A/C removal, power steering removal etc..I can seem to see the belt configuration bery well due to the ABS covering it. Cant you remove the belt and get gains?? instead of chopping everything off? Are there any belts you can remove to bypass a/c and PS? Do you need to replace it with a shorter one?
