SRS reset ?
After you reset it and it blinks 2 times, you wait 10 seconds and then restart. Within that 10 seconds you are supposed to plug the MES plug back in correct??
Thanks
Thanks
I'm also wonder about this. I seem to be having difficulty getting the SRS light to stay off. I'm starting to wonder if maybe I actually do have a SRS problem. It flashes twice, then about 5 seconds later it turns back on. Should i shut the car off before the light turns back on? Plug in the cable after shutting off? Or what is the exact finishing procedure after the SRS light blinks twice?

I don't think you have to plug it in w/in those 10 seconds, I did mine but I don't remember what I did at the end. Just try it and see what works.
i donno if this will help anyone out but the srs light can be set off by any electronics in the general area of the passanger seat. what happens is that the srs control unit that is located in the passager seat gets any interferance from cell phones, aftermarket lights like neons or even laptops, it sets off the srs light as a 15-2 and 15-3 DTC (dionostics trouble code) the unit is completely wireless. thats how they comunicate with the cars computer. i only know this bc im am currently a honda tech in marlyand. i hope this helps bc i had the same problem...

hooray, I finally figured out why it wasn't working. I just put 04 Si seats in and my buddy who helped me forgot to connect the passenger side connectors, hmmmm no wonder why it wasn't working. well I did it and no more SRS light.
Oh and to answer the question about the DIY. AFter the two blinks you IMMEDIATELY turn the car off, pull the keys out of the ignition and wait 10 seconds. Start the car like normal and SRS will go off like usual. Make sure all your connectors are connected, trust me, it's happened to me. hope this helps
