spray it with the cleaner (the plastic one), let it sit a while, then rinse it off with a hose, then let it dry a bit and spray it with the filter oil (in the can), and that's it.

gah...so i got up and got the instructions from the k&n recharger kit.
Here's kinda the jist of it:
1) dislodge loose particles
2) spray filter w/ cleaner and let it soad for 10 mins.
3) rinse w/ water (tap water is ok) Flush from clean side to dirty side.
4) shake off water and let dry naturally
5) re-oil along each pleat (1 pass per pleat)
6) let oil wick into cotton for 20mins.
then of course, reinstall it.
