Doughnut won't fit on Kami. header. Please help...

Hey guys,
Here goes one more of my many requests, hopefully someone can help .

Did anyone have to modify their doughnut to fit the kami. header at the bottom? If you guys are unsure of what I'm talking about is the ring that goes between the header and the downpipe. Thanks in advance.

Mike.

NOPE the kamikaze is different. You can go to any good auto parts store and they can hook ya up. Just get a larger aluminum doughnut gasket. I have one if you cant find one. Got mine down the road at Midas. Just check around.
It is aluminum you could pound it down to size. But be carefull.
Make sure you bring the header if you can for the right fitment.
PM ME FOR MORE DETAILS
or redline04 he will know too

Pound it down to size?? I was thinking more like polishing it to increase its inner diameter. I went to Discount Autoparts and got a bigger inner diameter one but this one is to big on the outside now .
Oh well, I guess I'm gonna have to see...

Hey, by the way!! What about the support bracket for the header? Did you guys install it or left it off?

Thanks for the help.

We tried to polish it and went too far and started to get into the meshing on the inside. You can try yourself it didnt work for us. Keep working at it. You will get er done right. You need to pound it to keep from dicking up the meshing you will figure it out when you start to polish it.
