DIY: Blue Dashlight DIY
I'm unaware of a DIY for our cars for the gauges, but I did one for the temperature console area...
There are some people swapping out to blue LEDs on clubrsx, but the (excuse my french) d1ckheads there won't show anyone else howto do it unless they buy a kit from a guy who swears he's not trying to make any money... he charges 55$ plus shipping for 10$ in parts and shipping... They're jerks, and I hate to talk smack, but I just can't stand arrogant bastards who won't share their info with others...
Oh, and RSXs have a completely different gauge than us Civics... And I have gotten my replacement blue LEDs from superbrightleds.com and can confirm they fit fine, though it is quite splotchy with the coverage... needs some work.
But if you wanna play along, the parts you'll need are:
10 twist in style blue LEDs (to replace the twist in bulbs)
11 LEDs to replace the colored indecator LEDS
~5 extra 5mm T1 3/4 Blue LEDs (30* angle) bright LEDs...
ALWAYS get 1 extra, I messed up and ordered 9 twsity bulbs :-/ but luckily I have some blue LEDs that I can use in it's stead.
That is what you'll basically need... I hope to get a DIY for us Civics up as soon as I have time to work on it. Best, Bill

Rob, are you referring to the RSX blue gauges page that I posted? Or did a civic do one too? I just ask because they're completely different gauges (they use all SMDS, we use twist in bulbs and 5mm LEDS). And the guy on clubRSX won't give you the info unless you pay him, that's what I was so pissy about... a zillion people asked him for a dIY, but he refused...
nah it was a 7th gen
it looked kind of dim and splotchy
he might have made some kind of gels for the gauges or maybe covers for the lights
nuthin beats reverse indiglo gauges
'til someone diy's theirs better
