I installed myself. It's pretty easy, but the wires are hard to get to. Here's a simple diy.
1) Take down glove box and locate ecu wires. Match the plugs and wires to the diagram posted here.
2) Look in the manual to find which wires to splice in or tap with the ecu wires. I just used the supplied wire taps, but soldering is better.
3) When the wires are done, turn the car on (don't start the motor) and perform initial setup by setting i/o 06 06, vtec=3, throttle points NE, and a few other things. Again refer to instructions. Turn car off to save, then start up like normal. That's it.
