SRI rubbing throttle cable?

ok so i bought a generic civic intake off ebay.
i have to say its pretty nice, i didnt want to spend too much on something that wont give me too much gain.

well the thing is i got it installed but i think the cable is being bent by the intake. did oyu guys have to move the cables around so that the throttle doesnt go all crazy?

after i installed it i drove around and i notice that the rpms would stay at around 3k even when i pressed the brake and the car would start aceelerating by itself.

i saw most of the installs and i noticed that most of them go under the cables
ive tried everything and still the car goes crazy.
i think it might have something to do with the cruise control.
anyone else have this problem?

gringo62 is an unknown quantity at this point
I bought one of those generic intakes also. Believe me, spend your on something name brand. I used to think that generic intakes were the way to go. I was definitley wrong. Cut your losses and buy an injen or aem.

never heard of this problem. I dont think the wires youre talking about (I assume the 2 wires on the left side that is supposed to go above the piping) are correlated with throttle.

are you sure they lead right up to the place where you can adjust the throttle.
