I already have my streetglow kit installed with a switch to turn it on and off. Im not really an expert in all the wiring and I had this idea to have the underbody neons flash on whenever I lock or unlock my car using the keyless entry. I know the headlights flash on and off when I lock/unlock my car and I was wondering if it would as simple as switching a couple wires. Has anybody already done this to their setup and how do you guys think it would look?

Rep Power: 0 You would have to hook it up to your keyless entry system. It won't be as easy as switching a few wires, I think you'll have to cut and splice some wires.

Rep Power: 0 u might have to connect them to the headlights but if you do that the only time to have them on is when the headlights are on.

Rep Power: 0 yeah i was thinkin of this idea too, i wanted to do that if i ever get around to putting on some under glow..
paul walker's skyline in 2f2f had that. wen he ran to leave his house in the begining, the underglow lit up blue as he unlocked his car n hopped in. (i think)
.. btw. nobody has done this? or is it just too hard?

Rep Power: 0 well, When i had my truck, I only had one of the neon plate frames, and i tied it into the parking lights so it would flash when i set or disarmed my alarm. It would also flash when the alarm went off, looked damn good.
Know this is a little different,it is a bigger system so the first thing to look at is how many amps the kit draws, there may be a way to just wire them to your parking lights, if they flash. Im too tiered right now so find out and ill think of something.
