Alarm DIY??

I seached and only can find some wiring diagram. I am totoally new to these.
After reading some other post and tips, I decided not to have someone else to install the alarm. Or it is too hard for a DIY?
Is there a DIY this??

actually its recommended to have the professionals do it

because a good alarm is not necessarily based on brand but installation process

I wouldnt attempt installing an alarm myself

However, since Im buying the OEM Honda security system for $120 with installation instructions and wiring diagram, I will install it myself.

Of course, I will be adding a back-up battery, same color wiring, and a second siren for extra precationary measure.

Soon as I do mine, I'll let you know.

Im still in the pre-install DIY documentation and planning for those extra stuff

If I were to do a simple OEM Honda security system, it would have been really easy. Although, it could still be easy even with the extra stuff (I hope!!)

Im reading the PDF install file for GX/HX/LX/EX application and it appears to be a plug-n-play. With the small exception of drilling a small hole to insert the LED. Other than that, theres not even any splicing of some sort.

Splicing should occur when those extra stuff will be installed.

From what I've been told it is not that hard to do as long as you have some paitence and a good wiring diagram of your car. (where to buy or get I do not know) I am about to do mine myself installing a DEI Viper 791XV
Link . I will try and do a DIY. IF you just follow instructions and have paitence it should not be that hard. Although if you have no electrical knowledge I would recommend getting some or letting someone who does have some help you or just do it for you (ie a shop).
