Front Door Courtesy Lights

I just bought a Canadian 2004 Civic 4 Door Si (which is the equivalent of the American EX, less the rear seat cup holder...) and the owner manual mentions Front Door Courtesy Lights.

I never found them !

Anyone can telle me where they are ?

If you had them, they would be in the lower door panels.

You can always install some. Just find a kind you like from another car, cut the panel, wire them to the dome lights, and you're done.

If you wanna get ricey with it like me, wire up a pair of neons under the dash. Like gearbox said, you can tap into the dome lights. OR if you don't feel like running wire up there, tap into the door trigger wires - they're behind the driver's side kick panel. Best to run through a relay too.

Question Front Door Courtesy lights

The owner manual says :

"The courtesy lights in the front doors and around the ignition switch come on when you open any door. After you close the door, the ignition switch light stays on for several seconds."

I was just wondering WHICH Civic model has front door courtesy lights ?
I sure have never seen any Civic with front door courtesy lights !

Does anyone know ?
