use this link it will help you alot. http://7thgencivic.com/forums/search.php?

also it would be pointless to spend the money you would have to, to get the job done, when it would be finished it would have taken less time to do a k20 swap that already has vtec or less time to install a turbo, and both would be cheaper, easier, more powerful than a wimpy sohc vtec all engine.

It's gonna cost you the difference between selling that car and buying an EX....
AFAIK that's absolutely not possible... Unless you're talking about a full engine swap, which would cost more (in $$ + time) then buying a new car...

not just the engine, you gotta get a whole new tranny and ecu. Then the work having to change out the ecu would probably take the longest and be the most expensive.

518 is on a distinguished road
Buy a "VTEC by Honda" sticker. Thats the easiest way to do it.

Seriously, get an engine swap.

You'll need a New VTEC Head and probably the cover and also an EX ECU with the vtec solenoid. Itll probably run about 2-4k.

Better to do a swap to a k20 like they said
