okay....kinda difficult to explain


when i installed the filter....i think i pushed the filter too far in

so the question being....if i pull the filter back alittle

will it increase the intake sound?


i'm asking because i'm too damn lazy to take my bumper apart
unless its worth doing...opinions?

Well I can't see the pic, but it shouldn't matter. As long as everything is sealed, it should sound the same.

that's what i thought too....

but i'm on my fourth intake and the Injen CAI now seem not as loud

as my other Injen CAI....weird....cuz i used to redline in first gear
and it was freaking loud....now...not loud at all

it might be all in my head....but i'm very positive
that around 5k rpm....the injen cai is freaking loud

but now at even 6.5 rpm...it barely roars

Strange. My fipk short ram is incredibly loud at high rpms. I've taken the filter off and on a few times and haven't noticed any difference in sound with location. Just get an SRI if you want loud.

i have an sri and its loud and deep
