04 Civic Intake Question

Ok guys i installed a intake on my ex 2 door civic. now the intake, doesnt seem to fit down to where it should, instead if your looking at it, it turns to your right. And is right on top of the radiator, which is pure heat and does nothing.
SO i dont know if maybe i was shipped the wrong item, for maybe a lx or dx.
If you guys know what is up or suggest a intake for the car let me know. and post pictures or email me pictures of the engine so i know what i can do to fix this.
I think i may need to cut like 3 inches off the back and then turn it to it goes down..Let me know

you were probably shipped one for the LX/DX. It sits higher. Put in either tech stuff or other products and parts next time. IBTM

i dont know if this is true or not but its just from my past expierence and it may be wrong but..

arent cold air intakes only made for manual applications? i looked thru AEM's website and their authorized dealers and when i bought my car, i was looking for an intake. i thought cold air was the way to go (btw, my car is auto) because i heard better stories about it and im the guy who looks forward into higher quality parts (non generic). so i looked at injen/aem for cold air but they dont make one for my 03 auto ex.

if yours is generic brand intake, maybe eBay wasnt the right place frend bought an generic intake for his sentra and he needs a piece to have it working. (clamp)

goodluck though
