can na civic be fast?
i am wondering if na civics be fast b/c i heard that the d17a2 is slow *** **** and can't be fast unless u turbo it or supercharge it. If it can be done without forced induction then what parts would it need to be fast? Also approximitly how many hp can it reach maximum?

our cars are optimized from the factory. you can free up air flow with an intake and exhaust 500-600.00 and get another 10 HP. Tyhats a lot for only 10. Thats how well our cars are tuned right out of the box. The single most cheapest gain Ive found is full synthetic oil. It frees up HP.

There are a few more ponies to be found from basic mods. Honda tunes the engine for 1. power 2. fuel economy 3. emissions 4.noise level. 5. driveability (power curve). If power is most important to you, you can trade off the other attributes for it.
