02civicricer is on a distinguished road
r u in the "Trip A" or "Trip B" mode when trying this...someone on here had the same prob but oin order to get rid of maint' req light it has to be on the regular odometer mode with the six digit thingy...so if it is in trip mode u have to put it back to the regular mode then try the resetting the maint req light...see how that goes for ya.

when the car is on put it on TRIP A then hold in to it reset to 00000 then once you reset it turn the car off with it still on TRIP A then press the button and turn on the car while still pressing on it and wait a few seconds if that dont work do everything over except with TRIP B. good luck.

turn the key off... hold down the button and start the car and keep holding it untill it turns off. (like 8 seconds or some crap like that) I did it on the freeway the other day when mine poped on.. pushed in the clutch, turnd the key off and held it and back on... hehe
