For those of you that have a xenon front, is it an entire bumper or is a cover. I emailed a guy on ebay and he says that you need your stock bumper.
"Also this is a complete bumper cover. It goes over the
entire bumper, but the stock bumper still needs to be
there."
Is this true? I didnt think so based on all the pictures ive seen on this site? Thanks for your help.

how the hell would you put that thing over the stock bumper??? lol. That guy doesnt know what hes talking about, its a full replacement bumper. When you want to put that bumper on, you take off the OEM, and replace it with the xenon. It does not go over it.

Yea, i was pretty sure that the xenon bumper was a full replacement. So should i still buy it from this seller? He just isnt sure what hes talking about but the bumper should still be what it is... therfore it should be okay to buy it right?

maybe he confused it with the Kaminari or he was talking about the rear bumper?
not sure if xenon is a entire rear bumper replacement...
also he could be an idiot and thought you were going to remove the actual steel bracket brace
I would be weary over the guy doesnt no what he is selling

i think he just isnt specialized in with civics. I mean he is sure its a xenon kit for the 2001. Plus he has excellent feedback. If worse comes to worse i guess ill just have to send it back. But i mean xenon doesnt make different bumpers for our year, theres only one.
Actually guys the part on the front that you are removing is not the bumper. That is called the front fascia and it covers the "bumper". The bumper is the steel bar that runs horizontally across the front of your car behind the fascia. To install the Xenon fascia just remove the OEM one and install the Xenon fascia over the original "bumper".

The Xenon Bodykit has a full front Bumper or "Fascia" replacement, you can get rid of the old one.
As for the rear its just a lip and requires you to keep the stock rear bumper.
