Hood OEM Spec and trunk etc.

I am working close with a Chinese Carbon Fiber Comany who makes Carbon Fiber accessories for Koenigsegg, VW, Audi, etc. They have been making Carbon Fiber products for 10 years and have created most of the Koenigsegg car panels and parts. We plan to create OEM Spec Carbon Fiber hoods, panels, lip kits, etc for good prices. here is a preview of one of their products:

I was just talking to them and they said they would rather make perfect OEM compenents and have top quality, rather than cheap cut carbon fiber. They claim their carbon fiber is as good or better than spoons, and everything is laser cut.

It will take some time before manufactering starts and I am not even certain if we will work together or not. I want to make everything out of carbon fiber for the civics, rsxs, and others.

I cannot give away that info due to other vendors reaping their products. Its based on Hong Kong. Their stuff is super high quality and I will keep you posted, I just need to know the specs on the OEM hood, trunk, etc.

I am going to start a post on what you all would like to see in a carbon fiber part. Like, what bothers people about the existing hoods, trunks. What they like and dont like, etc. I want to tailer the kit to consumer preferences and then have the best hoods on the market. I talked to the company and showed them a spoon seat. They replied that it was ok and that their CF manufacturing is as good if not better. I hope we all can benefit from this.

Thanks,

Eddie
