Maint Req light on...help!

Maint Req light on...help! Maintenance Required Light came on driving home from work. I don't have the owners manual to my car and don't know the proper way to remove the "nusance alarm." Any one know the drill here to help a bro out? All fluids are OK and Mobil 1 oil changed about 1k ago. 22k miles on my car.

Your owners manual also tells how to do it...
but here goes (how many times has this been poasted here?)
put key in ignition, hold trip reset button down, turn key until dash lights come on, wait until maint light goes out, turn off key release button.
