1. No, you don't have to realign them
2. You can seal them w/ a silicone based, water-tight sealant like for RV's
3. I prefer a hair dryer to pull them apart, but an oven works too
4. Most importantly take your time w/ it and make sure you do it right, it doesn't matter how fast you get it done.
5. Also if you were thinking about painting your headlights, now is a good time to decide for or against that

follow the DIY, it shows everything in detail. However, when seperating the headlights I suggest having a friend blow dry the edges while you pry it open, which makes it a lot easier. When you re-seal it make sure you get all the holes, you dont want any moisture getting in there. Also, make sure you do not touch the chrome parts, where the light is projected from, on the actual housing. You do not have to re-align the headlights, there is nothing to align. Just pry it open, remove the amber peice, seal it back up with silicone, make sure its dry, then put it back on the car. Good luck!

There are also metal clips that help hold it together. The clips are on plastic so when you are taking them apart be careful not to snap the plastic that they are latched onto.

Follow the DIY. I have pics of the way mine came out. Its really easy. Way easier then trying to pry open the OEM tail lights.

Peace

- Oven - 300 degrees for 3 minutes with coupe (be sure to remove the clips first), 4 or 5 minutes with sedan (clips integrated into headlight housing).
- You don't have to realign.
- MONO Ultra Outdoor sealant is what I use
