How does the sf fuel managment unit work?

ok, so pretty much i was wondering if anyone can explain to me exactly what the sf FMU does?

doesn't it increase the voltage the ECU see and thus tells the fuel pump to send more fuel to the injectors?

i'm wrong.

it has a 12 volt in-line pump that for every pound of boost it incresese fuel pump pressure by 10 lbs.

so pretty much instead of pushing the fuel like the normal pump does, this one pulls it from the other end? cant you just replace the stock fuel pump? i know its inside the tank, so maybe add another pump somewhere else along the line?

yeah, u can do that if you get bigger injectors and some type of fuel computer like the greddy profec e-01

PM opto_isolator......he is doing something similar, but i can't remember.
