i need some help. i have a 2001 civic with a dc sports tcs exhaust. its a great looking exhaust, but when it comes to the sound, im not too crazy about it. i want something that is going to be a little bit louder but also sounds good. i was thinking about getting an hks or an apexi muffler that i saw for sale and getting all new piping or getting the muffler from the dc sports exhaust cut off and weld a new muffler on. does anyone know how good these mufflers sound? i also know that when it comes to horsepower, exhausts don't really do much for these cars. please help me....thanks!

I have the HKS axel back and I love it. It isn't too loud or too quiet. On top of it, it is such a quality product, and I totally dig the whole slanted up look, but some people don't like it. Apexi makes a good product too, so yeah I would say get custom 2.25 piping with bullet resonator and HKS axel back system.

Just cut your resonator off. It will make the sound a little louder and not too loud.
