Intake pipe being lead thru head light

Ok, I have an idea and I wanna see what u all think, possible problems etc.

I was involved in an accident about a month ago were a car reversed out infront of me in a street, I slammed on the brakes and hit ice. I hit them in the back with the front right corner of my car. Damage = Cracked Bumper, Busted Light, Bent Fender. I am paying for all these to be replaced soon due to Tax refund. But I wanted to experiment first. In my head light, My middle white light is busted, in short the entire light is trash below the turn signal light. and to the left of the actual head light, so the lower left of the light is destroyed, however the plastic cover is still there just a bit cracked. So here is my "idea".

I will remove my resinator and have a intake pipe go from the filter box to my light. I would cut the circle out of the light, where the parking light is. I would then cut out the back of the light frame and run the pipe thru the back into the light, so that the pipe would actually replace where the light usually is. I would then cover the pipe with a fine mesh to prevent any objects flying into it. So the ideal end result is that in the day, u see this head light with a black hole in place of the parking light. So in the end your forcing air into the intake as you go along, and your taking in outside Air which is of course much cooler then engine compartment air. It would suck air in normally as usually when ur idle, but when driving ur forcing all that air in there, faster you go, more air forced in.

Assuming I could get thru the light without a problem, would this be logical, work well? I think it would be a cool idea. If I destroy the light o well, its destroyed already.

well i dont thinkk it will even really make a difference for the effort.
i mean if you are doing an allmotor drag setup then every little bit counts. but in our cars nothing like that is really going to matter.
there is an intake on ebay that is kinda like a ram air setup it mounts on top of your radiator. cant find it maybe someone will post it?
but wiyth the setup you are talking about it will look like sh^t in the engine bay. just get one of those ebay cai for like 35$the same thing and it looks way betterhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2458660969 <<<<this one acctually looks like it would be better than all the other crappy ones on ebay.
looks like it is made way better!
