wouldn't u have to report it to the cops to be able to claim it with ur insurance...... and if u hate ur civic that much and left it open hoping someone would steal it so u could get a new car....

camerys, accords and civics are the most stolen cars in America. if u get ur civic stolen im sure the guys at the insurance company wont think twice about cuttin u a check. now if someone stole ur brand new lambo murcialago it would be a different story.

I should know cops look around these forums. I am one!! j/k . However I know for a fact that insurence companies arent incompitant. Attempting insurence fraud isnt very bright and its only matter of time before they nail you. Thats why I wont post some videos of canyon runs of some 7th gen members on this website becuase of insurence reasons. However if you like to Pm me and see some wicked stuff . I can do that

Our civics are not jack proof. Bypassing the chip in the key is really easy but calls for some electrical knowhow. It is totally feasible that your civic can be stolen. I do not condone you tryin to fraud insurance though becuase it's that kind of stuff that makes everyone's insurance go up.

If you really dont like your civic, part it out and sell it for all you can get.

Also, as someone else said, if someone steals your car and the cops find it with no rims but everything else is in tact, guess what...you get a check cut for the rims and that's it. Someone just took a joyride in your car probably having disreguard for anything. Your car is better off totalled.

Hint: Your car found after reported stolen stripped in a big ditch or canyon TOTALED.
