Clearing my headlights....question about DIY
My only question with the DIY is do i have to remove the bumper to clear my headlights? seems like a lot of work just to take out my headlights. Also as far as clearing them goes. Is it illegal to just have them clear? with the regular bulbs, or will i have to get amber bulbs or somethin like that.
Thanks for all the help.

You have to pull off at least the top of the bumper. Undo the 4 poppers on top of the grille and the screw in each wheel well, then pull and it'll fall forward... just lift it over the radiator neck. But seriously, the bumper can be removed in less than 20 minutes.
Its illegal to have them clear, you can re-legalize them with an amber bulb, but you'd really have to find a bored cop to pull you over for it.

I spent 1425 points to do this.

yeah, u dont have to take the whole bumper off, just the 4 popper screws over your upper grille. Ive had mine cleared for about a year now...and my left headlight just started to fog big time..i took it apart and drained it, and re-sealed it using the extra protection of my mom's glue gun
now...i guess i didnt get all the water out, theres still a little fogging....damnit! oh well, ill just wait till i can afford halo projectors.
-just be carefull to heat those seems nice and hot when you put ur lens together
-as far as legal issues, it really depends on the cops in your area. i live in CT, moded cars are not too common around here, so cops dont look out for little things like white turn signals in front.

In most states, I know for a fact in California, you are allowed to have either a white or amber front turn signal. So the issue is really not with the color of the turn signal bulb at all.
The issue is that you are required to have an amber reflector. So by putting in an amber bulb, this will not make it legal, but it may just make it seem more legal to cops.
