scratchy sound by wheel...

scratchy sound by wheel...

well..today i started backin out of my garage and i notice a real loud scratchy sound comin from the right side of the car and so i get someone to come out and check out where its comin from and its comin from down where my wheel is...so..i ignore it but its pretty loud so i jsut drive down the road and it still makes the real scratchy sound while drivin....but when i brake it stops but oncei let go of th brake it starts again....BUT...ill be drivin and it will all of a sudden quit for awhile and i wotn hear it anymore but it'll start back up like 15 mintues later..the same scratchy sound.....anyone know what this is? its real bad when i back up and turn my wheels...

maybe something with the brake system of cv joints or something, have you done any visual inspection yourself?

haha dude change your brakes before it gets worse and scrapes your rotors I waited too long and the top portion of my rotors are messed..... the brake pads are thing and just moving around in there.
