Steering Wheel Removal Problem

I'm having trouble taking off my steering wheel. I removed all the bolts and wires, all i have left is taking off the steering wheel itself. I yanked and yanked and even got the steering wheel puller from autozone, but no luck. Am I missing something? I have the DX is there a difference with the EX and DX steering wheel?

are you sure you did remove all the bolts? Don't forget to take the one big bolt off located in the center of the steering wheel, then use some power pull toward yourself then the SW will take off all the way.

Yep. I removed the 19mm bolt. I pulled and pulled, but nothing.

just keep pulling, the steering wheel puller should work, its very easy with the puller if u have stock steering wheel, but i had problem getting the momo steering off, but stock steering is easy

I must be missing something then. Do I need to doing anything with the ignition or keys? I know my wheels still move when I turn the SW. Is there a lock or something holding me back?

^^ Nope, just pull. The puller should do the trick though.

I put the Si/SiR wheel on mine and that was all I had to do.

Note: If you haven't, you should disconnect the battery as well.

Sometimes with tension on the puller tapping on the end of the puller with a hammer will break free the steering wheel
