Shave
doesn't sound like such a hard project.
If you look inside the driver's side rear wheel well, there's a black plastic panel. Behind that are the fuel lines. I'm not sure what the fuel hoses/tube are made of so that might make re-routing the fuel bay inside the trunk a little hard. If you want to put the bay toward the rear bumper, like below the license plate, you're need to extend the fuel hoses/tube.
you do realize that when you gas up, it's going to look ackward when you have to reach into the trunk and put the gas nozzle in there right?

i think if you are going to shave the gas door, you shoudl reroute it behing the left tatil light. i always thought it was cool how people had the tail light pop out and the gas cap was behind it.
