you can get a generic style one. OBX makes a rear bar, but cusco is the by far the best.

i got the Type-R one off ebay. I have an 02 EX coupe. It works pretty well, especially for $15. What I might do, since it is sort of weak and just a hollow metal piece, is have a shop weld a metal bar onto the side or something...i dunno. But there are a lot out there. try www.thecivicstore.com , www.tornactive.com (5% discount for us members!) , www.modacar.com , www.nopionline.com

cool. What do you people think about my idea of having a shop weld a metal tube to the bottom/side/top, or any combination, of my Type-R strut bar to make it stronger? They should be able to do it for a couple bucks...not that hard or time consuming.

Here is the link I got mine from. Just search on ebay for "01 civic rear strut bar" and you'll get HUNDREDS of identical auctions.

oh, and as far as the effect, I won't say I did all that much. I'm sure I can take turns a little harder now, but I put it on at the same time as the rear sway bar, so I think that's where the huuuge difference was.
