i think the stock switches dont have the 'intellegence' that the aftermarket switches have. essentially you need an aftermarket company's control unit to 'control' the auto up and down feature. i have it on my civic. i have one touch open and close on my driver side control and just open and close manual on the passengers side. the 'aftermarket' control unit is installed in between the stock switch and the power window unit. i have DEI boxes as so is my alarm.
i kinda lazy, so i just gonna jumb right in without reading. if you buy a dei window module (alarm accesories made by directed) the driver can control the passenger window with one quick down. same goes with the driver.
what is awesome and that i like from dei is that the module also let you auto up the driver and window at the same time or one by one(your decision)
if you do not have a dei alarm system, tried to call a certified dei tech and they can probally rig that thing so that you can use it as a stand alone system instead of buying it as a add on feature like what i did.
