ohiojosh78 can only hope to improve
so you just open the slot up a little bit so the spring sits all the way into it?? I'm kinda lost here but i think this is what you're saying.

the gap in mine was bigger than this, so i filed more off...is that bad??

did anyone else swap-out the REVO spring for the OEM spring??
i did...it has a bit more tension than the REVO one

did anyone use the OEM pin instead of the REVO pin??
i did...it seems to seat better than the REVO one

I used the OEM spring. The one included with the Revo Technica SS didn't seat right or something. The OEM worked better.

Never noticed a play while in gear since I installed the Grey and Capyoda at the same time. I also used the OEM pin and spring as mentioned by FALKEN.

One thing Im confused about (what else is new?!) is if that if you have a play and you grind it down more, wouldnt it cause to have more of a play since you are making the gap bigger?!

But anyway, I didnt file mine like I said, and I dont have any play while in gear and this shifter feels solid every shift!!!

If I understand it right you file down the lower section so the spring will sit farther into the gap at the top.

I recently am having a problem with the pin at the bottom coming out. I was reading this and thought maybe I will replace the pin with the OEM but have recently moved and had to junk all my OEM stuff. Anyone know where I can get just the pin and maybe the spring. Or know how to keep the pin in place. It pops and then there is tons of play. I mean like it is neutral type play.
