Hydrolocking
I almost hydrolocked my motor before. I hit a nice puddle and my car started bogging then stalled. I actually cut the motor once it was bogging. I tried starting it up and it didnt start up at first but after the 3rd try it started rough and blew alot of smoke out the back. I pulled into a gas station and disconneced the lower tube of my Injen Cold Air and kept on driving. The car feels fine but it seems to tick louder than usual. Any ideas or is it just in my head?
don't know I have the Injen and have had no probs. I've gone through puddles almost up to my door. Just take it slow and easy and go through the puddles. If you gun it, yes water will be sucked in.
As for your problem, let the car sit overnight in a warm area. Take off the intake and inspect it. Install and go for a drive. See how it goes.
