Rep Power: 0 Damn man...I think this is like the third story like this I've heard in the past month. What kind of intake was it? AEM? Injen?
It just stopped? Did you try to start it again? Was your bumper submerged 2 inches, or was that how deep the water was?
Sorry to hear man...But it's an excuse to get a K20 if that makes you feel any better :\

Rep Power: 310 when the cluster goes crazy and the needle start clicking, it's probably an electrical problem. The few times when my car wouldn't start and the cluster does that when I try to start, my battery was either low or dead.

Rep Power: 0 i don't think that its hydrolocked. if the water WAS 6" deep, your whole filter wouldn't be submurged completely to start suckin in water. i would say its electrical, try tightening the battery terminals, even a little loose and it'll keep the car from starting, but my money is definately on an electrical problem

Rep Power: 375 your engine would completely seize (usually) when it hydro locks. It does NOT sound like that is your problem. and you'd have to get a LOT of water on the intake from a 2" puddle AND BE FLOORING it to have even a remote chance from hydrolocking.

my car recently hydrolocked, hence the k20 swap. If you turn your ignition and nuthing happens, it just clicks, hate to say it you probably did what i did
(all for rods looked like this btw)
I at first thought it was electrical, boy was i wrong. If the motor doesn't even think of cranking, just puts a load on your electrical and the lights go dim, you motor probably isn't able to spin.

Rep Power: 0 Absolutely, return the car to stock as far as the engine is concerned.
It sounds like you got some water into something and it is slowly drying out. Did you pull each coil to see if any water got in?

Rep Power: 0 Put everything back to stock ASAP and take it back to the dealer. I don't see how 2 inches of water could make it hydrolock. It could be some crazy sensor somewhere that went bad. I remember back in 96 when my dad got his dodge stratus it had a few problems at first and everytime we took it to the dealer they "reset the computer and put a new oxygen sensor in it" either way dude your car is under warranty so just put it back stock and act like you never modified anything
