You definitly dont work on cars every day if you have never stipped a nut, and you definitly have never worked on a car before if you didn't know that a torch will heat up the metal and allow the bolt to free easier, and you DEFINTILY DEFINITLY have no idea about anything, trying to JB Weld a socket to a nut...I told my fellow mechanic's, and i had them rolling around for 20 minutes...They said there should be a test to take to be able to post on this message board. I stuck up for you and said everyone learns somewhere....but man...don't try to be what your not. Good luck with that.."bolt"

Have you got the nut off, or bolt out? I haven't been able to tell if its a nut or bolt by reading this thread.
DAMN just use EZ Out...I had a bolt get the head stripped clean off and was like oh ****! but my father-in-law had easy out and in 2 min the bolt was out! all it is is a small drill bit that goes into the bolt snags it self in and reverses it out! it works brilliant and costs like $7.

Sears craftsman stripped bolt removers work wonders. its like a regular socket but it basically wedges its own "teeth" into the nut allowing you to remove it. give it a try.
