I'm trying to put this header on my friends 03 ex and i can't get it off. Its the bolt farthest to the right. Its stripped because i couldn't get my socket on all the way. So i tried to stick the socket on with jb weld but that stuff just crumbled. Then i got a gator grip socket thing but i can't get it off with that too. We already bought a new bolt so i don't need to save this one but i don't know what to do.

dont hammer in the socket unless you dont want that socket anymore. you risk a chance of getting the bolt stuck in the socket permanently. if nothing works, you can always torch the bolt out.

ah that thing wasn't 11mm though.
it was a 10mm nut. (not a bolt)
it should only have 23 lbs.ft of torque on it..
if you were really using 11.. that may be the problem. thats why its not catching the nut properly.
try a 10mm... but I'm not sure how badly it is stripped... there's a different socket you can buy that grips not only the hex shape of the nut, but the side walls of it too.. i suppose its like the gator one you tried to use, but its made to spec.
if you have more room, there'll be more options...
becareful, u dont want to break that bolt (not the nut now) there.. cuz it extends into the engine block... if u snap it, it'll be difficult to fix.

Go to Sears and get the "Craftsman Bolt out" kit. This works pretty well. It digs into a stripped bolt and gets it off. It makes it's own grabbing points on a stripped bolt. I have the bolt-out and the screw-out sets, and they both work great. It's like $20, but it will save your sanity.
