Rep Power: 0 Neon electrical question
A couple weeks ago I installed a 9" blue neon underneath the driver's seat and want to install one on the passanger side. On the driver's side, I cut off the cigarette adapter and hard wired it to the back of the lighter. Can I add one more neon on that same circuit (or whatever you call it) and not draw too much current that it blows some fuse or burns something out? I still want to be able to use my phone's car charger at the same time as the both neons. Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I'm a newb at electrical things and want to make sure I don't screw something up.

Rep Power: 0 yeah should be fine I think the civic has 15 - 20 amp capacity on that section. But for more just bring a wire in from the batterie and do it that way!! then you can use whatever size fuse you want!!! hope that helps!

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, thanks for your time. I just finished installing the other neon and everything works great. I had the same problem installing them as I did last time. Last time, I bought one of those cheap home electrical kits at WalMart just for the wire stripper and wire taps, but the included taps were too big. So this time I bought smaller taps and the neon's wires were still to small. So, what I did was I just put both wires in the same compartment in the wire tap instead of them having their own and then that worked fine. I'm waiting for nightfall....this should look pretty good.
