Hey I know on older civics the ground wire (engine bay thing) actually hurt power in the car and so it was replaced by a braided stainless steel cable. Does it make a difference in our cars? Could we just take it out? What are the pro/cons??

power comes out from + side of the battery, and it HAS to go back to the - side of the battery, the more way it can lead the current there, the better.
especially if you have a lot of ground to the chassis, migh want to run a few nice ground wires from the chassis back to the battery terminal

Rep Power: 0 i saw a diy on a good ground for your car somewhere on here but a good thick 2 gauge or 0 gauge wire will do it some good and you could probably make it look pretty cool, you dont have to over do it but i think if you add a few good grounds then you should be able to possibly (dont qoute me on this) notice a small difference in acceleration and your headlights wont dim when you do certain stuff and some other qaulity things will go up
