headlight harness

Hey guys . does anyone know how to change the headlight connector on a 9006 bulb. just the connector. I have a friend who has a 02 accord and melted the the connector. using some jippo performance bulbs the harness is good I tested it and it has current all the way to the connector but thats about it . I cant seem to get an answer from anyone other than " yes you can take just the connector off without cutting it off" any help would be nice guys

u pretty much have to cut it and then splice it with the new one.

thats what I was thinking too. I think some people tell you what you want to here sometimes. just to make a buck
