Question Revo Short Shifter for SI 2000?

My buddy is having a hard time installing a Revo Short Shifter into his Civic SI 2000. Anyone know where I can find a DIY for it anywhere? I tried searching the web and came up empty handed.

6th gen civics use rod type transmissions (unlike our cable trannys) so there is no revo SS for those cars.

Exclamation Hrmm..

Oh...Hrmmm, he bought one from Tornactive that said it was for SI 00. Wonder what the deal is. It does look like it goes on, just he doesn't know how to take it apart.

you have to take the shift rod out from the bottom of the car...

jack up the car and go from there..

search the web for a DIY... there's a few out there..

or check like... other short shifter sites to see if they have any install instructions.

quite a hassle, really.
