OEM fog light problem

I've had my OEM style fog lights for about 4 months now, and yesterday they just stopped working. I've checked the bulbs, checked the wiring, check the fuse, and came up with nothing. I've searched on here for answers too, but that didn't help either. Now, I'm gonna buy a volt-meter to test if I have power at the switch, lights and so on, but before I do that, I thought there might be an easier way. So my question is, is there a fuse somewhere in the car (either under the dash or in the engine bay) that has anything to do with the fog lights, or is it just the one fuse that comes with the wiring harness ('cause I checked that one already). Also, I've been using Nokia 80W bulbs instead of the Philips 55W that came with the lights. I know more wattage could melt the wires, but they look fine as I said, besides, wouldn't that blow a fuse before anything.
So if anyone has any idea as to what might be causing the problem, please let me know.

OK, can this relay be switched with anotther relay that could handle the extra wattage? And how can I check if the relay is fried, where is it?

hey kape, have you fixed ur fog light problem yet? i have the same problem as well. they worked for about 8months. i checked everything like wire connections, fuses, relay, switch and they were all fine but they won't light up. i tapped into the factory fog wire so that i didn't have to run a new wire through the firewall. dunno if that makes a difference. tell me how u fixed ur problem if u have.

damn guys that sucks i've had mine about 7 months and they're fine, but then again i didn't up the wattage on the bulbs i left them as is, but i have question. does ya'lls fog switch stick out further than the other switches that were alreasy there? i think mine are from an 01, but i want to find a switch for an 02, and i believe there is a difference cause the 02's light was green and the light was near the top of the switch not the bottom like mine is.

word of advise, if your going to do something, do it right the first time, take the time and trouble and run the cords through the firewall, it isn't that hard to do.....

i know it isn't hard to do but i wanted to avoid running another line if there was already one there. it makes install look neater. but y would running another wire through the firewall make any difference?
