power source???

Hey all,
I was qondering if anyone knew where i could steal some power from in my 02 si. I couldnt find the interior light fuse and the fuses seemed too small to wrap a wire around anyway. Any suggestions on how to hook up a button?

Thanks

hey 02civsi

I did a splice into the wiring for the cig lighter and it works great. It has a fairly beefy wire (for factory) and should be able to power anything up to 10 amps easily. Just remove the center console and the bolts that are hidden underneath the cig lighter. You can buy a tap in splice or just peel back insulation, solder and shink wrap. I use it for the turn on for my amps as I like the look of the factory deck. It is switched so make sure whatever you are powering doesnt need a constant supply.
