do i need any special tools?
I just ordered an AEM V2 intake cause i want to see for myself how it works, neuspeed front upper strut bar, and revo short shifter, do I only need hand tools or do i need something special, I know i need a torque wrench for the strut bar, but do i need anything else?
u dont neccessarily need a torque wrench for the strut.. u juss need basic tools for the intake install- 10 and 12mm sockets philips and flat head screw driver.. well heres a diy : www.madstatic.com/2k1/diy
its really good.. but i also heard that the injen race division out performed the v2 in all aspects... tell me how it sounds and works out if u could.. thanx

You don't need a torque wrench for the strut bar. Just use a normal hand ratchet and make sure that thing is nice and tight. It's not like your wheel lugnuts - where you have to make sure they're at 80 ft-lbs. or you could possibly die.

dicconnet the battery ... mmm if you havent done it before .. it might help .. be we put a injen cold air on my buddies 01 lx auto and we didnt .. we just pulled off the bumper .. but i install car audio/security so i mean it wasnt a huge problem for me and i have done them before so .. that helped the most .. if you feel comfortable with out doing it .. .. if you feel uncomfortable disconnect it ...
