OK, I've had the Elegante TYC tail lights on my car for about a year now and I was never convinced and still am not convinced that they look good, or that they make the car look cheap. I keep thinking they're missing something. Most of these "Euro taillights" don't look like the Lexus, maybe 'cause I know they're not supposed to be on the particular car. But I think there's more to it. I've been looking at the Lexus tails and the Nissan tails and the crome is darker, or the glass is tinted or something.
So my question is, is there anything out there that could tint the lights or maybe paint the interior crome part and still look cromeish? I've seen one 6th generation civic with eruos that were "tinted" light blue like the licence plate cover and it looked great. I would want to match my licence plate cover too, which is the brownish tint, but I don't want that paint that makes the light black and with no shine, that's crap.

take it apart and spray a light coat of some color that you want then put back together...
