P1554/6/8 Battery Module Temp Sensors
P1554/6/8 Battery Module Temp Sensors
Hi all!
2004 HCH. 98,000 miles.
I was getting an IMA light and CEL so I removed the battery pack, deep discharged the entire pack, used a grid charger to recharge the pack to 168 volts. I pulled each and every stick and tested the voltage on each and every cell in each and every stick.
During the reassembly I accidentally pushed one of the battery module temp sensors so that it arc-ed across one of the sticks. Bright spark and soot on the end of the stick. Pulled the stick, tested the stick and each cell in the stick and all was fine.
Put it all back on and was still getting the IMA and CEL.
I am now getting 3 codes: P1554 P1556 P1558
Battery module temp sensor.
I am thinking I might have blown the battery module temp sensor unit.
Thoughts?
Any idea on how to figure out if the battery module temp sensor is blown?
Any way to replace that?
Many thanks!
