People with AEM V2 come in

I have installed my V2 last week. For some reasons, the air filter is rubbing against the stock intake bracket and the battery bracket. It kinda damages the air filter. I have tried moving the intake arround, it doesnt help.any of u guys has the same issue?

post pic of your engine bay if possible.

Thx

lol, what did you do to that poor filter? Just keep messing with it and you'll find the sweet spot.

Re: People with AEM V2 come in

I have no idea, thats one of those cheap Vatozone ones I used over the winter. I don't have my wheel well liners in and I didn't want to get all the nasty **** off the road in my $70 K&N. I believe the pipe diameter is 4" on the V2 but don't quote me. When I went to replace the one supplied with a K&N the only filter my local speed shop could find to fit was off of a 99+ Mustang Cobra which looks similar to the bottom one here but has a chrome cap on the end that says K&N....

Quite larger than both yours and the one on in my pic, like I said just keep tooling with it and you'll get it to sit right.
