how to get someone to rear you

The famous uphill red light got the best of me today

I just need a little more practice and I think Ill have it on lock. Ive driven on the highway and everything inbetween. I just sometimes get so nervouswhen im sittin at lights sometimes , and when im driving in general. O well i hope the shakes go away, as this is only my 2 day driving my new car.

Yup, same thing has happened to me as well when I was learning how to drive stick. You'll get the jitters out of you soon enough. And like said above ^^ use the e-brake until your completely comfortable.

Re: how to get someone to rear you

Procedure for starting at an uphill red light with a 5 speed transmission: When you come to a stop, place right foot on brake...left foot depressing the clutch pedal...car in 1st gear. Engage the emergency brake and take your right foot off the brake pedal. When the light turns green, slowly let out the clutch and give it a little gas. When you feel the car wanting to move forward, release the emergency brake and wallah.....away you go. You can practice this maneuver in an empty parking lot as well. The principle remains the same, even though you are on flat ground.

Ebrake ftw. One of the digital rear facing signs would be pretty cool to have when someones on your *** at a hill.
