Fast 7th Gen?
Fast 7th Gen?
Is there a way to make a 7th gen not suck. I have an 05 DX and it really seems that the only way to make it a decent car is to sell it and buy something else, or put way too much money into it and get a k swap. Someone please tell me I'm wrong.

I hear ya, the point I was trying to make is someone is always going to have a bigger badder car than you.
you have a Civic someone els has an Evo they have an Evo someone els has a Vet they have a Vet someone els has a Ferrari it goes on and on.
Keep your vic finish school get a good job make lots of money then get the car you want.

Re: Fast 7th Gen?
Just get one of these. Like I said someone always has something bigger and badder.
1. ThrustSSC has reached a highest speed through the measured mile to date of 766mph on Wednesday 15th October 1997, a Mach number of 1.020
2. ThrustSSC set a new Unlimited World Land Speed Record of 763.035mph on Wednesday 15th October 1997
3. The car is being displayed at events around the UK for the forseeable future
4. It is unlikely that ThrustSSC will ever run again having reached the objective of the first ever Supersonic World Land Speed Record

Re: Fast 7th Gen?
Dude... you have 15k and a car?? You are just starting college??? Trust me. Keep the civic for its gas mileage and reliability. The vic will get you through college and you can drive it to work after(and leave the M3 which you buy when you get the kick *** job after graduation in the garage so it doesnt get owned by dumbasses on the road). Use the 15k to buy beer, lots of beer. I think that much would get you through your freshman year(maybe part of sophomore year if you don't have many friends). Its college afterall... If you aren't drunk the whole time then what kind of experience would it be????

Amen to that!!! You might spend 15K on beer but the experiences and good times are priceless...
Re: Fast 7th Gen?
Dang 15K and starting college?
you must of got a scholarship or somethin cause theres no way I'm gonna have any money when I get into college.
scholarship or not.
save it.
and invest it in the car that you really want later.
now theres too much to deal with.
my highschool is pretty much like college like the layout all thats different is no dorms.
we have enough room to have a college
but like people mess up cars in highschool for fun why wouldn't they in college?
don't risk gettin all your work torn up.

I'd be willing to say that the koenigsegg ccx-2 (ccx-r) is faster than the bugatti veyron, although I don't think that it has been fully tested yet. It has more hp than the veyron, a little less tq, and weighs almost half as much while being more aerodynamic.

I 2nd the thought of investing the $15k and letting it gain interest while you're completing college.. Then you'll be able to take the extra money from your new career and buy a car and have the $15k as a down payment on a house.

Oh and having said that, I was just trying to point out how terribly wrong and misinformed you are. If you admit that, I just might let you beat me until I shut up. Well, at least you can try your best over the forum.
Re: Fast 7th Gen?
I'm not gonna lie, I'm really confused right now. I don't know if I should be a smartass or if nothing above was actually directed at me.
Remedy? Highfives all around.
Oh, the ccx-r (ccx2) is in production. As a matter of fact, you can also order it with the top gear wing now if I'm not mistaken.
