Why buy a CAI, when you can build 1
This may be completely retarted, but I think it might work, at least in theory. Instead of spending $250+ dollars on a CAI, why not modify the airbox as follows...

ok it may sound cool and all but that 250 youd spend on a CAI was for a few years of testing and quality to come out with something that will pull more HP and TQ and help the engine breathe better.
