I have a friend that has a D16Y8 motor like mine in his civic, He cant afford a engine swap so he was wondering if there are a head off of another civic he can swap with to make more power? Any ideas? Thanks for any info.

nope, only head you can swap on is a d15 nonvtec or somethin that is still in the d series. Tell him to get a header, intake, cams, exhaust and he should be good for lower 15's.

Thats some funny ****. I have a d16y7 and i love it. Turbo kits with the right accessiories can be bad ***. My buddy has the his d16y8 with 148k miles and hes runing 9lbs. He has the proper setup so he doesnt **** anything up. As long your carful and put the right parts on the car will haul ***!!!

Yeah and have the money to fix it when it goes wrong
If you can do it yourself, then cool. Otherwise you'll be paying someone thousands to install it all.
