Are you buying the motor already turboed?
If you are not you might want to look at turboing a b18 nonvtec series or b18 vtec series. You will gain quite a bit bottom end power. Just a thought. What are you going to do for a tranny? LS or type R or what?

Thanks Charlielink for your support, was kinda nervice putting that part in cause i thought there might be some non-military supporters on here. If i bought the B16 i would find a shop in town that would build the motor to handle boost. I might try the B18, but that motor would as well be built for boost, plus the B18 does have more torque. As for trannies im not sure yet, going to have to do some research, any knowledge you guys would like to share. Thanks for the welcoming!

Depending on your turbo choice and hp range, you would want to get a tranny that is gonna keep you in your powerband so if you have a small turbo but the ls tranny, you would do better with a type R or b16. If you get a big turbo and want to go to 150mph you would want to get a good ls tranny.

I Love when people get a car and have a planned setup of what they want to do, and than everyone tells them to do something diffrent. If you throw a decent turbo setup with a few bolt ons and good fuel mangment a turbo b16 will haul ***!!! I wood have to disagree about the Ls/vtec. Ls engines are great for boost but the bottem end is not going to like reving to 8grand. Which is like stock rev-limit for a b16/b18gsr

heh tell me about it. Let the guy do what he wants

If he is going to turbo it, surely the LS engine would be better to use?
